Current 2026 NCLEX-RN Examination
The current NCLEX-RN Test Plan is effective from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2029. It includes examination content, administration, Client Needs categories and clinical judgment expectations.
The NCLEX-RN uses Computerized Adaptive Testing. The examination adapts as the candidate answers questions while continuing to follow the required test-plan distribution.
